Where is MY Chinese New Year?

The Chinese New Year fever is in the air. But only applied in my dear Malaysia home. (I'm not interested in other countries)

Here, I live my life everyday as usual till I didn't realize CNY is just around the corner till yesterday..

Friend(s):GONG XI FATT CHAI!
Me:What???? It's only Thursday lah.
Friend(s):Yalah....Sunday is already CNY loh.
Me:Means still have 3 MORE days to go. Why wish me so early?
Friend(s):Early? Left 3 days ONLY lah.

The above conversation took place for numerous time in ONE freaky day. I bet CNY must be 'hot' in Malaysia now...and obviously I don't feel a THING.

If I could just shut myself off from all those unconventional e-communication messenger internet service (aka MSN, YM, Skype, etc), I might just forgot the existence of CNY which I celebrate every year hopping from house to house begging for getting angpows, and the next thing to do is to explore the angpow and invest into indoor domestic casino, while wearing striking red undies so to get the 'ong'...yadda yadda....

Though the New Year fever is no where to be found here, the company's basketball fever is burning.

I just got my T-Shirt today....

And my number is....

Maybe I should change it and get the 8....FATT FATT FATT....

The tiny mini me, will compete against all those giant 'gwai-lou' hulks. I hope I won't get injured by them...

Please, wish me luck for the basketball match next week, please...pray that my kamikaze mission will succeed...

and of course...

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR !!!!
