Simple ABC of life

I have a cousin who recently went to Australia to pursuit her higher education after SPM.

Before I tell you the story, let me start with a bit of her background. My this cousin, let's call her R, comes from a higher middle class family where they have an Indon maid at home doing all the house chores and parents are pretty busy with their work. Though parents are busy, R grew up in a proper environment teaching her to be well mannared and polite.

When she went to Australia the first time, her mom flew together with her just to make sure she could adapt her new life and be able to live indepedently (though she was staying with her aunt).

While both of them were in Australia, her mom tried to teach her some of the survival skills necessary to survive in a foreign country - cooking instant noodles.

Everyone should know how easy it is to cook instant noodles and I'm pretty sure all Malaysians have at least eaten once in their lifetime.

The steps are really easy..

  1. Boil the water.
  2. Put in the noodles and wait till it's cooked.
  3. Place the noodles onto your bowl and mix it with seasoning provided in the pack.
And there it's ready to serve.

Different people might have different way of cooking instant noodle, but it'll be there and there about.

So, the first lesson the mom taught R was to boil the water then put in the noodle, but R replied...

How to know if the water is boiled?

*sweat*...
