Visiting the Green Carpet

Date : 29th March, 2009 ~ 31st March, 2009

This trip is gonna be another trip being a tour guide to a Hongkie and an Indian English.

We reached Ipoh on Friday evening and went to the famous Tau Fu Fah in Ipoh where we saw Ah-Niu directing his new movie nearby Onn Kee Taugeh Ayam Restaurant. If you are in Ipoh, make sure you don't miss the Tau Fu Fah at Funny Mountain Soya Bean store, the Tau Fu Fah is so smooth, it might just slid through your throat before your teeth could even bite it. No kidding!

Coincidently. it was Faye-the-BigSister's birthday and few of us were planning to throw her a surprised party. Too bad, nothing could hide away from her. Anyways, it was a great night for a short catch up.

Next morning, I was dragged by Mich-the-BabyBelle's mother to have breakfast at Foh Shan Restaurant. We stuffed ourselves with plenty of dimsum knowing that there won't be any nice food up the hill.

Before departing to Cameron Highlands, we had a round of the Ipoh famous white coffee at Sun Yuan Loong Restaurant.

We then rushed up to Cameron Highlands to visit the Boh Tea Plantation Farm.

Going up to the plantation with the small winding road might be more exciting than riding a roller coaster as there's no track nor safety precautions and it all depends solely on the driver's skill.

Everything was worth it once you are up there enjoying a cup of tea.

Steamboat dinner was like a routine in Cameron, which we didn't want the two foreigners to miss out.

There's nothing much to do in Cameron after the sunset. The only 'healthy' outdoor entertainment available was the pasar malam.

As we couldn't find any proper glass or cups in the apartment we rented, we had to use bowl for our white wine. It's strange, for sure.

The next day, we went to the Smokehouse for a short photo session before leaving the hill.
